Hyperboles: The worlds best exagerations.

Kia Ora Bloggers! Today is our first day back to online school since we had a 3 day weekend. If I haven't told you before we change our workshops every week. We also choose the winning workshop based on the amount of work they have been producing. Today I am still in waka Tahi - but with another teacher.

Our lesson today was to create our own hyperbole. A hyperbole is a type of exageration used in everyday sentences, songs, poems, and more. An example of an exageration is: It was raining cats and dogs. This refers to when its raining so hard.

Here is my 3 hyperboles. I hope you enjoy.

  1. Ka pai Margaux. I really love the description of your learning as well as your examples. I also like the way you've carefully chosen images that match your hyperbole examples. Do you think you'll remember to include features like hyperbole next time you are writing?

  3. Hey Margaux! My favourite Hyperbole you have made would have to be "It feels like I'm lifting a lot of elephants" This is because when I'm trainng or lifting weights it definitely feels like this! Thanks for sharing!
