Research about Neptune

Kia Ora Fellow bloggers. Today Kea had a similar task to yesterday. Yesterday I did research and Explanation about Jupiter. But today i'm doing Research and Explanation about Neptune. I sort of did the same thing by making a slideshow presentation on Neptune. I had to use a rang and variety of different websites, articles, and links just so I could make this presentation complete.

I found it easy to gather information and put it together - it wasn't that hard to do anything. Here is a couple of links to articles if you wanna find out more interesting facts about Neptune. I have also include my slideshow. I hope you like it.

Here is the links so a quiz and a article all about Neptune. My challenge for you it to comment your favorite planet and why.

Research about Jupiter.

Hi Bloggers, today Kea has a topic on space and our Solar system. Today we had to investigate about Jupiter. I have put together some facts about Jupiter on a slideshow. But did you know that Jupiter has a total estimation of 67 moons! A little guide to Jupiter is on the slideshow as well.

I found it hard to do the research because it took so long. But it was easy to put all those facts together to make this presentation. Kea had a range of different things to do while researching about Jupiter such as making a presentation, learning about Jupiters Great red Spot, and conducting experiments. I chose to make this presentation because I like researching about different topics and learning new things.

What are the elements of sand?

Hello Fellow Bloggers! Today I have another experiment to share with you. This experiment is more of a research. Its called what is sand made of. Thanks to Nanogirl I now know what sand is made of. Before I watched the video I remembered that in my old school  ( American Academy School in Qatar )  we learned what sand is made of. My old school told the students during our science lesson that sand is made of broke-down particles of shells. These shells sometimes break down due to watter pressures or long lifes. Now lets see if this theory is right.

After watching the video I learned that sand isn´t just made of broke-down shells. Its made of a mixture or different particles. Nanogirl ran a magnet through the sand to see if the magnat would attract anything. Surpisingly it managed to pick up this weird black sand. That sand was iron from all the different types of rocks on the beach. Those rocks may have broke down just like the shells.

But I wonder What types of rocks have iron in them to be able to be attracted to the magnet? Thats for me to know and you to find out. I was about to do the experiment but had no sand. But here is the link to Nanogirls Youtube page if you want to learn and do more cool experiments: https://www.youtube.com/c/NanogirlSTEMactivitiesforkids
