Hi Bloggers today we learned about Rangoli and the Indian Traditions. India is very famous for its amazing attractions, food, and festival of lights. Now you may be wondering : What is this festival of lights? Well, its called Diwali as from the title itself. Diwali is a celebration of how natives want to to start fresh. They celebrate this for many reasons, one of them is to bring light over darkness and good over evil. Diwai is called the festival of lights because it has so many lanterns, candles and more.
Did you know that there is a godess in India called Lakshmi? This godess is there to becuase she is a godess of wealth, luck, power and more?
During Diwali often people use rangoli to make patterns. Rangoli is a grounded rice. Todays task was to create a pattern from stuff around our environment. I couldn't find the right leave so I drew it on paper. But sadly that turned into a mess So I thought why not describe what it looks like.
My pattern was mixed- not with colours but with patterns. I looked up on Indian and Diwali patterns on google and found so many bright, and vibrant patterns. I took a look at one and decided to let some other patterns in on the art.
I hope you enjoy my blog post and fun facts about Diwali.
