Lockdown task 7 : Digital mars Rover

Kia Ora Fellow Bloggers. Today is another day for Kea´s Distance Learning. But today was quite unique unlike the normal days we have. Kea was just discussing the challenge for today when the teachers showed us a slide with 3 different breakout rooms. Each was with a teacher. The first breakout room was with Mrs Tonga and Whaea Sam. They were doing creative writing. The second breakout room was with Mr Toala and Mrs Mel. They were doing recount writing. And the last breakout room was with Whaea Ocea and Mulki doing comment on dojo/blog.

We each had a chance to choose the breakout room we wanted to go to. I chose to go in the second breakout room. I clicked the link and set off to go to the google meet. When I was there a lot of other student were as well. Mr Toala told us and gave us examples of what we were supposed to do. Then we asked some questions and went back to the main google meet session. There we talked about what we did and how we are going to do it. So now i´m doing 1 of my tasks which is to make another mars rover.

I will try and post the recount later in the day. but for now you can take a look at my mars rover. Here is my Mars Rover. The last time I drew it but today I made it digitally. I found it easy to try and use different shapes, but found it hard to find the right background to match my image.

Here is a description of how I made my rover:
  1. I used a variety of shapes to try and find something to match the base
  2. I found a background that I like and displayed it
  3. Then I coloured in my shapes and added 2 buttons.
So to conclude, that was the end of how I made my rover. I hope you can follow these instructions and make your own rover.

  1. Kia ora Margaux, I love how you made your mars rover digital and used google slides :) I wonder if you could add a description of how you made your rover? I'm looking forward to seeing that recount soon. Keep up the good work!
