Lockdown Task 5: 3D Tinkercad Rocket

Kia Ora bloggers! Today we got a special visitor - Andy Crowe! ( No not Andy Crowe the PMP ) Andy taught us how to design a 3D rocket in Tinkercad. I used a variety of different shapes to create my rocket. It was kinda hard to make the bottom part lift up so I could make flames. It was easy for me to create the base and use different angles to place the wings. I had to try to bring the roof of the rocket above the base. My rocket is kind of simple because it was quite challenging. After several attempts I finally got it to be somehow similar to the video. I made rocket boosters so it could fly even faster. But I couldn´t make any flames.

This is how it turned out:

I hope you could make a blog post about rocket you make! This rocket was fun to make and a very special thanks to Andy Crowe for taking off his time to come and teach us how to make rockets on tinkercad! The kea team really appriciates it.

Here is a slideshow with the video if you want to make a rocket too! Go to tinkercad.com:

  1. Kia ora Margaux,
Thank you for sharing your tinkercad rocket along with a clear description of how you made it. I like how you've added boosters to your rocket too! Did you manage to add an astronaut inside your rocket like Andy did?
Keep up the great blogging Margaux!
