Lockdown Task 6: Paper plane with air propulsion.

Hi Bloggers! Today Kea discussed how planes work. Kea learned that planes use 4 different forces of flight - thrust, drag, weight, and lift. All those combined help an air stay afloat in the air. Today me and Belinda have made a slideshow showing our planes. We made reports, facts, and photos of our plane. It has photos of how it functions an/or works. Here it is:

I found it quite challenging to do some research, but found it very easy to put it together. Ive put together some steps if you want to try to make the same plane as me:
  1. Fold a piece of paper in half horizontally
  2. Take out the fold and make two triangles at the top
  3. When thats done with your two triangles you are gonna folder them one more time. ( On top of each other.
  4. Then fold it back in half and make wings by bending the sides.
  5. Fly your plane. Experiment if you plane fly´s or not.

  1. Hi Margaux
it is awesome to see that you did research before making your plane. Thank you for you clear instructions. What way did you plane fly? Did it work? I wonder if there was a way to make it go in a loop?
Keep up the great blog posting!

  2. The plane flew but not very far. I had several attempts trying to make it go in some obstacles but it just ended up flying for about 6 seconds. I tried flying it in different ways to see what my longest record was.
