A K-pop Debate

Hi fellow veiwers today I have another debate because this time Im here to make a stable debate on why you should stop stereotyping K-pop and its idols, fans, and groups. First of all im going to state my reasons and a little  bit about them. "Why you should stop stereotyping K-pop¨ begins now.

1. Most K-pop fans dont like k-pop, they only do that for show.

You may think thats true but I have proof in words and photos. Most K-pop fans are so inspired by their idol/s they set up a charity fund to feed poverty. Once, BTS, Enhypen and much more fans matched a 1.million dollar donation to feed the poor. Think thats not true? Here is proof: K-pop Donation To Poverty.
2. K-pop is cringe, overrated, and all bad.
Yeah I know that some idols had a problematic past, but have you ever wondered why? Most fans send death threats to them and they end up doing s**cide. ( K-pop may be cringe in your opinion ) But there is more that meets the eye to its fame, and more.
Kpop idols put their entire childhood away and begin as a trainee at 13. Yet they a few still make their debut. K-pop idols have said many powerful things to its haters. But its your opinion, not mine.
3. Most K-pop idols got plastic surgery.
Ok, 10, percent of the k-pop industry had plastic surgery. But do you know why that is? Most companies are great and are fair with their idol/group but entertainments such as ( not gonna name them ). The entertainments force idols of overwork themselves and have a perfect image. The idol becomes insicure of his/her body.
4. K-pop is just music and dancing.
It may just be that but as I said before theirs more that meets the eye. They have meaningful lyrics and powerful vocals. Just like the Grammy´s, Their is also MAMA´s ( Mnet asian music awards ) K-pop idols also do fun and chaotic things. When I first liked k-pop I thought it was just going to be fun and game. Once I found out its true side, I decided I will support them till the end.

I hope you enjoy my statements and that you have to stop stereotyping us. If you just gave k-pop a chance, I gaurantee you, you wont regret it. I have gotten alot of stereotypes, but I just wanted to list the ones I could to express how I felt. If your interested in getting into kpop, click here to find out a brief image on k-pop:

Problem Solving Maths Equations

Hi Fellow viewers,Have you ever tried solving your own question? Because today Kea had to come up with a question and turn it into a math problem. This included showing 3 strategies of how we worked it out. I only could come up with 2 because I used Division of Fractions as my equation.

I included a recording of my working out on a whiteboard so you could see what I was trying to explain. I found it hard to explain it on the slides so my 2 recordings are there. I used this method because I wanted to challenge myself.

Do you know how to solve division of fractions? If so where did you learn it and do you have a similar way of solving it as did I?

Debate on Guy Fawkes

Hi fellow veiwers today I have come across with a debating situation. Have you ever heard of Guy Fawkes? Guy Fawkes is a tradition in New Zealand. They celebrate with fireworks. But the question is - should New Zealanders be able to celebrate Guy Fawkes? My answers is yes, and no. I think it should be celebrate, but with a different approach; here are my reasons why.

The Origins of Diwali.

Hi fellow veiwers today we read a story called Rama and Sita. Our task was to retell the story of Rama and Sita. What I also noticed was that at the end of the story it told us how this battle was the origin of Diwali!. Here is my slides of how I retold Rama and Sita.

Diwali Celebration: Rangoli Customs

Hi Bloggers today we learned about Rangoli and the Indian Traditions. India is very famous for its amazing attractions, food, and festival of lights. Now you may be wondering : What is this festival of lights? Well, its called Diwali as from the title itself. Diwali is a celebration of how natives want to to start fresh. They celebrate this for many reasons, one of them is to bring light over darkness and good over evil. Diwai is called the festival of lights because it has so many lanterns, candles and more.

Did you know that there is a godess in India called Lakshmi? This godess is there to becuase she is a godess of wealth, luck, power and more?

During Diwali often people use  rangoli to make patterns. Rangoli is a grounded rice. Todays task was to create a pattern from stuff around our environment. I couldn't find the right leave so I drew it on paper. But sadly that turned into a mess So I thought why not describe what it looks like.

My pattern was mixed- not with colours but with patterns. I looked up on Indian and Diwali patterns on google and found so many bright, and vibrant patterns. I took a look at one and decided to let some other patterns in on the art.

I hope you enjoy my blog post and fun facts about Diwali.
